Sydney Lynn Shumate was many things, once an athlete, once a coach, occationally a little sassy, and always a friend. Sydney was a light in every dark place, the hug at the end of a long day, an angel on earth. We are forever thankful for the time we had with Sydney before she met the Lord and can only hope to emmulate her free spirit and loving heart.
