Workshop # 1:

Theme: Vinyasa flow Yoga
Summary:
Vinyasa’ in Sanskrit means breath-synchronized movement. Thus, Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic type of yoga that uses a progressive series of postures while performing breathing exercises.
Vinyasa yoga has several physical and mental benefits.
Performing the Vinayasa yoga poses creates internal heat.The increased body heat stimulates blood flow to various body parts.

Theme: Yoga & Water Element
Summary:
Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on a theory of how the human being healthy, a physiological point of view, psychological, anatomical, etc.. It also tries to explain the causes of disease and the biological mechanisms and psychological consequences that are. Chinese medicine seeks to understand the human being as a whole, as well as healthy patients, both in terms of symptoms visible and invisible, by managing the balance of internal energy called Qi or Chi.
In this course, we will focus on the “Water” element is directly related to the kidneys and the bladder.

Theme: Improve your balance
Summary:
Balancing poses develop lightness, strength and agility. Practicing balancing poses allows you to achieve tremendous control over the body. These poses develop muscle tone and increase coordination, concentration, and focus. By practicing outer balance you can cultivate your inner silence.
Balance is inherent in many of the groups of poses we’ve done in earlier workshops, arm balances, inversions, and even the standing poses. It is also a very important part of our daily lives that becomes even more important as we age.

Summary:

In this course, we will focus on the element Wood which is directly related to the liver and gallbladder.

Theme: Manage the stress of life
Summary:
Stress is necessary for life. You need stress for creativity, learning, and your very survival. Stress is only harmful when it becomes overwhelming and interrupts the healthy state of equilibrium that your nervous system needs to remain in balance. Unfortunately, overwhelming stress has become an increasingly common characteristic of contemporary life. When stressors throw your nervous system out of balance, relaxation techniques can bring it back into a balanced state by producing the relaxation response, a state of deep calmness that is the polar opposite of the stress response.
