Statistical Awareness Learning Module - Materials
The following documents were created in collaboration with Josh Pultorak, Ka Yi Ling, Kyle Leubka, and Maria Giamoukopoulos during the 2014 implementation of the Statistical Awareness learning module at Edgewood College.
A pre-lecture worksheet that students were asked to complete prior to coming to class. Four versions (A, B, C, D) were distributed.
The in-class worksheet that students completed in groups with members from each version of the pre-lecture worksheet (A, B, C, and D).
The infographic and question that were used in a follow-up discussion after students completed the pre-lecture and in-class worksheets.
The test questions that students were given on their final exam. Scores on this exam question were compared between the intervention group that completed the Statistical Awareness module and a control group that did not complete the module.
