PLAY DAY INSTRUCTIONS

   Sign Up Options

1) Initial the sign up sheet for the next week's play, located in the Pro Shop where we are playing; Metfield, Kingsdale, BVCC, Scotsdale, Highlands on Wednesday's playday or online by 5:00 pm Sunday before the Wednesday event.                                                              

2) You may sign up online for up to three weeks in advance on our website, https://sites.google.com/site/bv9mga/home.

3) Request a friend to sign up for you at the Pro Shop on Wednesday's

playday.

4) To request to play Wednesday, after the Sunday cutoff time (5:00 pm), call the Pairings Person on duty.

       His name and number is listed at the top of the Pairings Roster on the POA website.

  Cancellation & Penalties:

                If cancellation is necessary, after pairings are posted on Monday, call your captain AND the pairings person as given in item 4 of “Sign Up Options”. The final play roster is completed Tuesday before Wednesdays play, & only emergency cancellations should be done after that.

    A player or a starter not showing up at the designated time without canceling before

   hand could lose privileges to play for two weeks. Chronic “no shows or repeated

   violators of Rules or courtesy will be discussed by our Executive Committee and

   suspension penalty decided.

Responsibility:

Each player is responsible for verifying his tee time, whether he is a captain [first person listed in the foursome] and whether he is a starter.  All players are expected to be able to perform their duties and responsibilities each time they play.

Team Captains will contact members of his foursome (name's & numbers are posted on our website under "membership) to arrange for carts. (See item # 15 regarding Private Carts under “Golf Courtesies”)

New members and/or late sign ups that are not in the printed roster book are responsible for calling their listed captain each week. Late telephone #s will not be added to roster, but will be added to the website.
