A traditional stone built terraced house with a pretty garden and extensive open views to the rear. It is a short stroll to the village centre where there are shops, friendly pubs and places to eat
There are 2 bedrooms with double and twin beds and a small bunk room, toilets on both the ground and first floor and a choice of bath or shower with instant hot water and central heating from the combi boiler. The large living/dining room features a gas fire and there is a conservatory at the rear where you can watch many different birds visiting the garden
Butterfly house is very well equipped, including free Wi-Fi, 2 televisions (Freeview and Smart TV), DVD player, CD player and radio with USB socket, fridge freezer, various books, dvd's, cd's, walk guides and maps for our visitors to use during their stay, a barbeque and a patio picnic table. Bedding and towels are provided , there are even beach toys and golf clubs
Belford is an ideal base for exploring Northumberland's magnificent beaches, castles and walking country which are all on the doorstep. Horse riding, angling, climbing, bird watching and other activities are available nearby. The special attractions of Lindisfarne, Bamburgh and a boat trip to the Farne Islands are not to be missed. Berwick and Alnwick, both market towns, are a short drive or bus ride away, while a day in Edinburgh or Newcastle is easily managed by car or train from Berwick
