Important Dates - 2023 Burnsville Girls Soccer Season

*2023 Players/Families - you should have received a welcome email from Burnsville Girls Soccer on 8/15/23. If you did not receive the message, please send an email to burnsvillegirlssoccer@gmail.com with your/your player's name and email addresses (please check your junk/spam folder first). Thanks!

• Prep Camp - July 31st-August 3rd from 10:00-11:30 a.m. - BHS Stadium

• Spirit Wear Store - STORE OPEN THROUGH 8/27/23 for player and family merchandise orders. These items will be delivered in bulk to the program (anticipated to arrive in September). Processing fee will apply to all orders. A delivery fee will be applied to all non-bulk orders sent directly to players. 

• 2023 Pre-Season Captains Practices: August 7-10th from 10 a.m.-noon - BHS Stadium. The Varsity Captains host these informal player lead training/conditioning activities to prepare for the season. There are no coaches present for these activities, but a parent is on site in case of any emergencies. Since there is no coaching involved, Captains Practices are geared towards Varsity/JV level players or those that have organized soccer experience (but all players are welcome to attend). 

• Player Bonding/Team Building Activity hosted by the Varsity Captains on Friday, August 11th at Crystal Lake Beach from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. *New End Time     If weather permits, the Varsity Captains plan to play beach volleyball at Crystal Lake Beach from 10-11 a.m. (and then if time/weather permits swim at the beach or at Captain Emma's house in Apple Valley. Emma's address will be provided to the players when they meet up at Crystal Beach). Interested players should meet at Crystal Lake Beach pavilion in Burnsville at 10 a.m.  Any changes to these plans will be posted on the Instagram stories Friday morning. Players needing more information or rides can message any of the Varsity Captains or send a message through the Team Instagram. 

• 2023 Tryouts/Team Placements/First Practices: August 14-16th 3:00-5:00 p.m. - BHS Stadium.  ***Any weather related schedule changes will be posted on the BHS Girls Soccer Instagram stories. Register through this link: https://isd191-ar.rschooltoday.com/

• Players and Parents Kickoff Meeting: Wednesday, August 16th 5:00-6:00 p.m. - BHS Room C180 - Coach Introductions, Important Season and Program Information, Booster Donations will be collected (Varsity: $125/player & 9A/10A/JV: $75/player)

• 2023 Varsity Pre-Season Scrimmage: Saturday, August 19th - Roseville Area Schools. Bus is scheduled to leave BHS at 7 AM and is anticipated to return to BHS at 2:00 PM.

• Obstacle Course Team Bonding Event (All Teams): Friday, August 25th. Bus transportation to the obstacle course (Heroes Course in Hastings) will be provided. Players should meet at BHS no later than 7:40 AM - the bus will depart promptly at 7:50 AM. The anticipated return time to BHS is 1:00 PM. Obstacle course is reserved from 9 AM to Noon. 

Players should wear athletic shoes & clothing (no open toed shoes) and bring a lunch and water bottle.

• Varsity Practice Times Change Effective August 28, 2023 to new time of 5-7 p.m. on non game days. All other teams will be notified of their practice times by their coach after team placement. 

• Firehouse Pizza Product Distribution - September 20th 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the back lots by tennis courts. 

• Coaches will notify players at practice (or a message will be sent through the team text exchange) if there are game or practice time changes. 

• Von Hanson's Fundraiser - Sunday, August 27th 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. *Volunteers Needed! Sign up HERE. Share the event with family and friends!
