Burneside Bowling Club has between 50 - 60 members and has 7 teams playing in 3 different leagues. As well as our own club competitions we hold 4 Open Competitions per year where bowlers come from far and wide to compete.

The Green is open usually from mid March to the end of September and is available for social bowling at any time of day apart from when league games are being played. An itinerary of these matches is usually displayed in the clubhouse window.

Our Teams 2024

This year of the 3 teams in the Kendal & District League we have: - Division 2 (1 team); Division 4 (1 team) and Division 5 (1 team) 

In the Rothay League we have: Division 2 (1 team) 

In the Senior League  we have: Division 1 (1 team) and Division 4 (1 team)

In the Rural League we have 1 Team

Dependent on performance these teams may go up or down divisions at the end of the bowling season each year.

We are a very friendly club and make welcome anyone that wishes to come along and have a go (young or old).
