CanSat

From November 2013 till June 2014, I was both the mentor and a member of the first CanSat team of the Middle East Technical University, Turkey. We participated in the AAS/AIAA Annual CanSat Competition which took place in early June 2014 in Burkett, TX, USA. Our team, METUSAT, successfully made it to the flight and ranked 14th among the teams that could make it to the Texas.

In this project, I founded the systems engineering and project management infrastructure and framework for the CanSat development within the team. For more information on our design approach and flight results, please have a look at our PDR, CDR and PFR.
