A completely private venue, you have the ability to stage whatever kind of event you wish. Throw the windows open to catch the sea breezes of a summer wedding, or watch the wild ocean weather from the confines of a warm location for your mid-winter Christmas party.
 
Your event is truly yours, with the facility to self-cater or bring in the professionals. We can recommend fabulous caterers that have used the centre before or you can source your own. We have a well equipped A Grade kitchen suitable for any level of chef - see our facilities page for more details.

The $75 standard cleaning fee is included. If the property is left in an unacceptable state there may be additional cleaning fees. 
   
WEDDING HIRE        
INCLUDES:
THE DAY OF THE WEDDING + THE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING FOR SET UP + THE DAY AFTER THE WEDDDING UNTIL 10am FOR REMOVING ALL YOUR THINGS + A SET UP  / WORK THINGS OUT TIME SLOT + CLEANER
$800 plus GST

+ $500 bond is also required for the duration of the event.

 KIDS PARTY HIRE    
SUNDAY AFTERNOON 12-4PM (total 4 hours)

NB: Available May - October and only on Sundays.

 $150 plus GST


FACILITIES
All hires include the use of the Stereo System & Projector, Tables and Chairs, Crockery, Cutlery, Glassware, (numbers are approximately 60 of each), Full Kitchen. 
NB Whilst all groups are welcome to use the Projector & Screen and the Stereo system, this is on an AS IS basis. We do not have staff to show you how to use it or handle IT problems for your event. You must provide your own VGA cable to connect to the projector. Complete details are here

CLEANING
With the exception of Wedding Hires, cleaning is up to the hirer. You must leave the hall spick and span ready for the next group to hire.  We can pre-book a cleaner for your event at the cost of $75. They will do floors, toilets, etc but not wash dishes / remove decorations / clean the oven / put out rubbish etc.  If you require this level of service you will need to speak to them directly for a quotation.


The Browns Bay Marine Centre is a Non-profit registered charity, run by volunteers.
