Welcome to Academic Physics! This course covers the North Carolina Essential Standards in Physics. Although it is an introductory course, it is designed to offer enough of a challenge so that students will be successful in physics courses they may encounter in the future.

A guide to the resources below:

• The Videos button brings you to a series of excellent videos. Make note that the NC curriculum does NOT include topic letters F (rotational motion), H (fluid mechanics) or O (modern physics).

• The Tutorials button brings you to tutorials that you can advance through page by page. They can be very useful to help you review prior topics and learn about new ones.

• The Worksheets button brings you to a large number of practice problems in both multiple choice and free response form. I'm afraid the answers are not included -- you will have to see me to go over them or purchase the The Ultimate Regents Physics Question and Answer Book.
