About Me

I consider myself very lucky to unveil the wonders of Physics to my students! I find my subject area as fascinating as ever and I hope to instill a sense of amazement and inquisitiveness in my students as they observe the world around them.

After growing up in upstate New York, I majored in Physics at the University of Stony Brook and received my Bachelors Degree in 1988. Over the next year, I completed my Masters of Arts in Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. My teaching career began in fall of 1989 at Martin Luther King High School in New York City, where I taught Regents Physics, Applied Physics and Physical Science for two years. I joined the Broughton faculty in 1991 and currently serve as the Co-Advisor for Caps Camp. I am married and have two children.
