Plain‑language summary policy:
Animal Puzzle is a children's puzzle game for ages 3 to 5. We built it with one simple privacy rule: **we do not collect anything**.
- We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any personal details.
- We do not track your device, your location, or what you do inside the app.
- We do not show advertisements of any kind.
- We do not sell, trade, or share any information with anyone — because we never collect any information to begin with.
- The game works entirely offline after you install it.
- Everything your child does in the game — stars earned, levels completed, stickers unlocked — stays on your device and only your device.
- The current version (1.0) contains **no in‑app purchases**. If a future version adds optional purchases, they will be processed exclusively by the Apple App Store's StoreKit billing system — see §6 for full details. We will never see your credit card, bank account, or any other payment credential.
This policy is written in plain English so parents can read it in a couple of minutes. Legal details follow for anyone who wants them.

## 1. Information we do not collect
Animal Puzzle does not collect any of the following:
- **Personal information**: names, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, dates of birth, or any government identifiers.
- **Device identifiers**: Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), Identifier for Vendor (IDFV), serial numbers, MAC addresses, IP addresses, or any other hardware or software fingerprint.
- **Location data**: GPS coordinates, Wi‑Fi network names, cell tower IDs, or coarse‑location approximations.
- **Usage analytics**: screen views, button taps, session length, crash reports, or performance metrics.
- **Photos, videos, or audio**: we do not request camera, microphone, or photo library permissions.
- **Contacts, calendar, messages, or health data**: we do not access any other app's data.
- **Payment information**: the current version is free with no in‑app purchases. If a future version adds optional purchases, payment is handled by Apple App Store StoreKit — see §6 below. We never receive or store your credit card, bank account, or any other payment credential.
## 2. Information we store locally on your device
The game saves your child's progress on your device using the app's local storage (inside the app's sandbox). Stored items include:
- Which levels have been completed and the star rating (1–3 stars) per level.
- The art style (cartoon / classic / real) currently selected.
- The number of in‑game stars earned and any stickers unlocked.
- Sound and music volume preferences.
- The in‑app language selection.
- Whether the tutorial has been seen.
**This data never leaves the device.** It is not backed up to any cloud service controlled by us. It cannot be read by the developer, by Apple, or by any third party. You can delete all of it at any time
- Settings app → General → iPhone/iPad Storage → Animal Puzzle → **Offload App** (keeps game data) or **Delete App** (removes everything).
- To wipe just the game data without uninstalling, delete and reinstall the app.
Uninstalling the app removes all stored data.
## 3. How we use information
Because we do not collect information, we do not use information for anything. There is nothing to describe in this section.
## 4. Information sharing and disclosure
Because we do not collect information, we have nothing to share. We do not sell, trade, rent, or disclose any data — there is no data to disclose.
## 5. Advertising and third‑party services
Animal Puzzle contains **no advertising SDKs of any kind**. Specifically, the app does not include:
- Any ad network (Google AdMob, Unity Ads, AppLovin, IronSource, or any other).
- Third‑party analytics (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar).
- Crash‑reporting SDKs (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, Bugsnag, or similar).
- Social integrations (Facebook SDK, TikTok SDK, or similar).
- Attribution services (Adjust, AppsFlyer, Branch, Kochava, or similar).
The only third‑party libraries embedded in the app are:
- **Capacitor** (WebView runtime by Ionic) — used to host the game inside a native shell.
- **Phaser** (2D game engine) — the open‑source framework that renders the puzzles.
Neither framework makes network requests on our behalf. You can verify this by enabling airplane mode before launching the app; the game continues to function normally and without error.
## 6. In‑app purchases (current version: none)
**Current version (1.0)**: Animal Puzzle contains **no in‑app purchases**. Every level, sound, animal, sticker, and feature in the current release is free and unlocked simply by playing.
**Future versions**: we may add optional in‑app items such as extra sticker packs, new animal themes, or a tip‑jar "support the developer" option. If and when that happens, all purchases will work this way:
- **Payment is handled exclusively by Apple App Store StoreKit.** We do not build our own payment system and we do not integrate any third‑party payment processor (such as Stripe, PayPal, or others).
- **We never see your credit card, bank account, Apple Pay details, or any other payment credential.** Apple handles all of that on its own servers, governed by the Apple Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).
- **The only information we receive from Apple after a successful purchase** is (a) the product ID of the item you bought, (b) a transaction identifier for restoration, and (c) the purchase status. We use these solely to unlock the corresponding item in the app on your device. None of this information contains personal identifiers such as name, email, or payment details.
- **Every purchase flow will be protected by a parental gate** — a short math question that a 3‑to‑5 year old cannot solve on their own. We hold ourselves to this standard regardless of App Store category. A child tapping random buttons will not be able to trigger a purchase.
- **No manipulative patterns.** We will not use countdown timers, limited‑time offers, "last chance!" messaging, loot boxes that require real‑money entry, or any other pattern designed to pressure children or parents into buying. Purchase prices will be shown clearly in the parent's local currency as set by the App Store.
- **No subscriptions without explicit value.** Any subscription (if ever offered) would be cancelable at any time through Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iOS/iPadOS.
- **Refunds** follow Apple's standard refund policy. You can request a refund at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
If you are a parent reading this because you saw an unexpected charge: open https://reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple ID that made the purchase, locate the transaction, and choose **Report a Problem**. We can also help — email `brilliantkidsstudio@gmail.com` with the Apple order ID and we will assist.
## 7. Children's privacy (COPPA, GDPR‑K, LGPD, CCPA compliance)
Animal Puzzle is specifically **designed for children ages 3 to 5**. We take our responsibility to protect children's privacy seriously.
**Compliance statements**:
- **COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, United States)**: we comply with COPPA. We do not collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13. Because we collect no data at all, we require no parental consent mechanism to do so.
- **GDPR‑K (General Data Protection Regulation — Children's Rules, European Economic Area and United Kingdom)**: we comply with Article 8 GDPR. We do not process personal data of children under 16 (or the local threshold set by any EU member state).
- **LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Brazil)**: we comply with LGPD Article 14. We do not collect, process, or share children's personal data.
- **UK Children's Code (Age‑Appropriate Design Code)**: we meet all 15 standards. The standards are satisfied automatically because we collect no data: data minimization, default privacy settings, no geolocation, no nudges, no detrimental profiling.
- **CCPA/CPRA (California Consumer Privacy Act)**: we comply with CCPA and its children's provisions. We do not sell or share personal information of any user, including minors.
- **Apple Kids Category standards** (App Store): Animal Puzzle is published under Games > Puzzle, not the Kids Category, but it meets that bar anyway — no third‑party ads, no third‑party analytics, no external links outside a parental gate, no personal data collection.
## 8. Parental controls
While Animal Puzzle collects nothing, parents can still manage the app like any other using standard iOS/iPadOS tools:
- **Screen Time** — Settings → Screen Time → App Limits to cap daily usage, and Content & Privacy Restrictions to restrict in‑app purchases.
- **Family Sharing & Ask to Buy** — children's Apple IDs can require parent approval before any in‑app purchase is completed.
- **Guided Access** — Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access locks the device to Animal Puzzle until the parent enters a passcode.
- **Downtime** — schedule a daily window when the app cannot be opened.
Inside the app, a **parental gate** (a simple math question) protects the actions that should never be triggered by a child alone:
1. Resetting all game progress (if exposed in Settings).
2. Tapping any email contact link that would open the Mail app.
3. Opening any link that leaves the app (support website, privacy policy).
4. Starting any in‑app purchase flow, in future versions that include them.
Gameplay, menus, stickers, and audio controls are never gated — the child can explore everything freely.
## 9. Permissions
Animal Puzzle requests **no runtime permissions** on iOS or iPadOS. You will not see any permission prompt when you first launch the app. The app does not ask for, and cannot access without explicit user action:
- Camera, microphone, or photo library.
- Location (precise or approximate).
- Contacts, calendar, reminders, or messages.
- Bluetooth, local network, or NFC.
- HealthKit, HomeKit, or Motion & Fitness.
- Push notifications.
- Tracking (App Tracking Transparency prompt is never shown because we do not track).
## 10. Data retention
Because no data is collected by the developer, no data is retained by the developer. Local data on the user's device persists until the user clears it (see §2) or uninstalls the app.
If in‑app purchases are added in a future version, the purchase records that Apple StoreKit shares with the app (product ID, transaction identifier, purchase state) are stored only on the device for as long as needed to keep the purchased item unlocked. We do not retain a copy of these records on our own servers.
## 11. International transfers
Because no data is collected, no data is transferred internationally or stored in any remote jurisdiction.
## 12. Your rights
Even though we hold no personal data about you, you always have the right to
- **Contact us** at `brilliantkidsstudio@gmail.com` with any privacy question.
- **Delete local data** by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling (see §2 for instructions).
- **Request confirmation** that we hold nothing — we will reply within 30 days (though the answer will always be "we hold nothing about you").
- **Complain to a data protection authority** in your jurisdiction if you believe your privacy rights have been violated.
## 13. Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy — for example, if a future version adds in‑app purchases, an optional online leaderboard, or any other feature that affects this document — we will:
1. Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
2. Post the updated policy at the same URL.
3. Include a prominent "What's New" note in the next App Store update.
4. For material changes that affect children's privacy, we will seek renewed verifiable parental consent where applicable.
We will **never** retroactively apply a new policy to data that was collected under an older policy, because no data is collected under any version of this policy.
