Evaporative Coolers

Here you can read all our evaporative cooler reviews!

A evaporative cooler is a type of cooling system that uses evaporation of water to cool indoor air.

Instead of dealing with a cold outdoor air, whose temperature can be as high as 55 Fahrenheit, the evaporation cooler uses a fan to draw the hot air inside the unit and then the fans force the water through the wet pads inside the unit. The water absorbs the heat from the air and then evaporates, cooling the air.

This cooler uses the outside air to cool air and does not require a refrigerant. The refrigerant is used in many kinds of air conditioners, and is used to improve the stability and efficiency of the product.

The working principle of a evaporative cooler is similar to other cooling methods. It uses an evaporator (where the water absorbs heat from the air), a condenser (where the water turns into vapor), and an economizer (where the cooled air is recycled back to the evaporator).
