3:55-4:15 PM - Dismissal

Materials:

• Walkie-talkie (found on my desk) on Channel 2

• Umbrellas are available in the office if the weather is bad

• Meet the front door walkers and daycare van riders at the end of the 1st grade hallway near the height chart.

• Lead front door walkers and daycare students from Kindergarten, followed by 1st grade, and followed by grades 4 and 5 to the front doors.

• Daycare van riders will sit on the benches inside by the artwork.

• Front-door-walkers will wait inside until the 2nd and 3rd grade students join the group, then everyone is dismissed to walk home.

• Lead the group outside and proceed to the first crosswalk. Our school librarian (Ms. Foster) and our school nurse (Amy Foust) should be out to help at the crosswalks and will help with car riders spots.

• When walkers have gone, assist with car rider spots 1-3.

• After dismissal, please put the walkie-talking back on its charging dock.
