🎶 Join the Sunnyside Singers! 🎶

Does your 4th or 5th grader love to sing? Come be a part of our school choir, the Sunnyside Singers! Choir is a fun way to make new friends, share your voice, and create amazing music together. No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm! Here's how to join:

Step 1: Read the information below about rehearsals, our uniform, communication, and performances.

Step 2: Sign up for choir by filling out the Sunnyside Singers Sign-Up Google Form by September 10, 2026.

Rehearsals:

Our first rehearsal will be Friday, September 11 at 8:15 AM in the music room.

Rehearsals are on Monday and Friday mornings from 8:15-9:00 AM in the music room.

Every rehearsal will be with the FULL CHOIR. Our rehearsal time is longer this year, but we are only meeting twice per week instead of three times, so it is important that your child be ready to enter the school right at 8:15 AM.  Your child will go directly to the music room with their backpacks, coats, etc.

If your child is in SunTV, they will simply miss two weeks of choir. Please communicate with me via email which days they will be gone.

There will be NO rehearsal on days that school is not in session (holidays, inclement weather, etc.)

Uniform:

Each student will need black pants, sneakers, and a Sunnyside Singers shirt for performances.  Keep an eye out for the t-shirt order form in late September or early October.

Communication:

Most choir communication will come through the email you provided to the district for ParentVue. Please make sure you check your email regularly for any new information including cancelations.
