My enthusiasm for teaching evolved over the years based on my unique mix of experience between industry and academia. Those experiences have shaped my goals of higher education to be workforce readiness rather than just theoretical content. I developed my teaching material and style using real-life practice examples to strengthen critical thinking and complex problem-solving. My courses achieved this by balancing the formal lecture format teaching and other unconventional and technology-based teaching approaches such as interactive class modules, field trips, YouTube videos, guest speakers, and software tutorials. Being close to the student's age, I make myself approachable and show students a sense of care by appreciating and recognizing the challenges they may face to win their trust and help them explore their potential. Finally,  I also set high expectations for my students and assist them in crafting goals, including short and long terms, to help them stay focused.

At the same time, there is an opportunity for the faculty to learn more from their students. The campus is full of thousands of students representing a world of new and young knowledge and experience, and some students have highly trained programs. Learning from their questions, comments, and ideas will be a good chance. Teachers should grow as fast as the students do, and this helps faculty to have young minds.

My goals as a teacher are to communicate knowledge accurately and thoroughly, share a passion for knowledge and curiosity with students, inspire their creativity, develop their critical thinking ability, teach them how to approach problems independently and encourage them to seek a greater understanding of how to make good use of what they learn.
