Summer Camp info:

Everyone attending Summer Camp (including the Adults staying the week), need their BSA Form 680 Part C: Pre-Participation Physical.  This form can be filled out by your Doctor or at "The Little Clinic" at Kroger, or similar clinics for a fee.

There are Tents on Frames on concrete pads at Camp Rockefeller, so there is not a need to bring a tent.  There may be an option for setting up hammocks, but that will depend on our Camping assignment.
It is recommended that you bring a Mosquito net for inside the Tents at camp.  Treating clothing with Permethrin is always a good idea.  They are available at Academy Sports.

For the boys attending Summer Camp, we need your T-shirt size for the Camp T-shirt.

For the Adults how will be there all week, we need your T-shirt Size and the Date of Youth Protection Training Completion.

Thanks to everybody that came out to help on the troop trailer clean up.

 About Troop 457
Troop 457 was founded in 1992.  We strive to give our scouts the opportunities to reach their highest goals in scouting.  Our troop does this by giving guidance and then letting the boys lead.  We are a “boy led” troop.  Our scouts learn skills by doing; they become leaders by leading others.

Weekly meetings are held on Mondays in the cafeteria of St. Francis School at 6:45pm. For information, please contact the Chartered Organizational Representative, Jeff Vandewinckel at (901) 355-7410 or or Scoutmaster Harold Urban at (901)-230-8105 or

The latest Committee Meeting Minutes can be found in our Documents page.
