Boulder Expedition is an opportunity for students to:

1) "Get away" and "get out there" on a five day Grand Canyon expedition by air, water and land.

2) Practice leadership skills in the back-country that apply to the front-country.

3) Work together to create a healthy pack and practice expedition behavior.

4) Apply scientific understanding by conducting citizen science.

5) Engage in exploration of self and self-reflection.

6) Return to school transformed into a self-confident, flexible, positive and creative leader.
