Bonggeun Shong is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Hongik University, where he has been a faculty member since 2017. He received BS from Seoul National University and PhD from Stanford University, and then worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University and as an Assistant Professor at Chungnam National University. In 2018, he was awarded the POSCO TJ Park Science Fellowship. Bonggeun Shong's research interests lie in the fundamental surface chemical phenomena, especially those related to deposition and etching of thin films.
