We study the interactions of small molecules on surfaces of solid materials. In particular, we are interested in understanding the surface chemical principles of atomic layer deposition (ALD) and its applications; those of atomic layer etching (ALE); and those involving low-dimensional nanomaterials, such as heterogeneous catalysis, and properties of metal-organic photoresists.
