We launch our kayaks
At the base of Mt. Epididymis
Surge down the vas deferens
Ride standing waves 8 ft high
That Teton picture in your den
Is the June of every calendar
An idle drift down the Snake
From Dead Man's bar to Moose
Notes:
The vas deferens is part of the male anatomy.
This poem was written shortly after I had a deferentectomy.
Dead Man's bar and Moose are found along the Snake River in Wyoming.
Photograph of Snake River is by Ansel Adams.
