About Us

We are all volunteers trying to create a supportive learning environment where our children can challenge themselves and compete in an academic realm.

Mme. Anne-Marie Lanz - Mme. Lanz is the BMMS It's Academic sponsor. She organizes and plans for the weekly practice meetings. Mme. Lanz is a French teacher at BMMS.

Mrs. Sara Seifter - Mrs. Seifter and her husband, Dr. Eric Seifter, are coaches for the Centennial High School and Centennial Elementary It's Academic Teams. They have been coaching It's Academic teams for well over a decade and have lead teams to National Championships. They also coached the Centennial High School team to win the Baltimore Regional championship on the local TV program, "It's Academic" two years in a row! Mrs. Seifter graciously volunteers her time and years of experience to supporting our children in this club.

Mrs. Paula Swann - Mrs. Swann is a BMMS parent and a huge help with coaching, web maintenance, computing, and teaching our students.

Hannah Fang, Charlie Lu, Mikhail Labar and Adhithyaa Nair - These four CHS students will be assisting with the weekly practice. We thank them for their help and dedication.
