What is Into the Wild?

Into the Wild is a Bloom tent camping experience . If lack of gear, knowledge, an awesome group, or fear has ever stopped you from tent camping, then this is your chance.

We will provide all the gear you’ll need and offer guidance through the whole process. By the end of the weekend, you’ll know how to:

Pack a backpack

Pitch a tent

Gather firewood

Maintain a fire

Cook in the wilderness

Exude confidence in the wild

....and much more!

Aside from learning how to camp in the wilderness, we’ll relax in the woods, cook over fire, sleep under the stars, wake up to the song of birds, and hike to our hearts content.

Don’t miss out on this special opportunity. With only six available spots, it’s sure to fill up quick.

Who is it for?

This is an adult women's camp, meaning it is for women over the age of 18, only. There are so many things for kids and teens, but this, this is for us.

When is it?

The camp will have two sessions this summer. The first session will be July 17th- 19th and the second session will be August 21st-23rd. Attendees can choose to attend one or both sessions.

What's the difference between the two sessions?

Although both camps are taking place at Lake Maria State Park, they are taking place at two different campsites there.

As for the July session, the campsite is one that has a primitive camper cabin. This will mean that campers will be able to choose between sleeping in the cabin or sleeping in a tent.

As for the August session, the campsite is a natural beauty. This will mean that campers will be exclusively sleeping in tents.

There is the option to attend both sessions, sleeping in the cabin in July and then when campers are more comfortable they can sleep in a tent in August.

Where will we meet?

For more information and directions, please refer to our Camp Location page.

What is going to take place there?

A detailed itinerary will be sent to you upon registration.

What do I need to bring?

For a list of items to pack for yourself, please refer to our What to Bring page.

How do I reserve my spots?

This experience can only accomodate a group of 6 sisters, and as such, we recommend you register and pay as soon as possible to ensure your spot. You can do this by visiting our Registration page.

Why can't I use my phone?

Digital detox is super important and spending a weekend unconnected will help you connect with the other campers and the beautiful surroundings.

Can I bring my baby with me?

Unfortunately, the rugged nature of this experience will not lend itself well to children.

How much does it cost?

The all inclusive cost of $200 includes the use of all the gear you will need besides clothing, the full weekend lodging at the campsite, zabiha halal meals, registration fees, legal fees, and all activities. There is also an option to sign up for both sessions for the discounted price of $350.
