ENGINE OIL /ADDITIVES

Archoil AR9100 is an advanced oil additive pack utilising nanoborate technology suspended in an ester complex. Nanoborate is delivered to metal surfaces where it reduces friction and provides outstanding extreme pressure, anti-wear and anti-corrosive protection for engines, transmissions, axles and similar lubricating systems. AR9100 also helps extend oil life and keeps components clean.


Enhanced Lubrication. AR9100 improves lubricity by filling surface asperities creating a more lubricious, lower friction surface. Nanoborate has a lower shear strength than the metal it bonds to, so friction between surfaces is reduced (CoF .037 @ 3,750 lbs in ATSM D3233 Falex test). This means more power, improved fuel economy and less heat generated through friction. Improved lubricity can also reduce engine noise and vibration as well as improve engine compression and reduce blow by thanks to a better seal on the piston rings.


AR9100 will raise the TBN (Total Base Number) of the oil helping protect against acidity and extending its usable life. The ester is AR9100 resist oxidation, further stabilising the host oil whilst reducing deposit formation.


Extreme Pressure Protection. AR9100 forms a resilient solid boundary lubricating film on surfaces providing outstanding extreme pressure and wear protection during extreme operating conditions. This film is more resilient than the soft sacrificial films of zinc based anti-wear additives (ZDDP). AR9100 outperforms zinc in heavy duty applications and the added protection benefits modern engine oils where zinc levels have been reduced to prevent catalyst poisoning.


Engine Deposit Reduction. AR9100 will help keep equipment and components clean. Nanoborate acts as a mild detergent whilst esters permeate and disperse varnish, sludge and carbon deposits. Extended Oil Drain Intervals. TBN values will remain higher for longer resulting in a longer life additive pack. Oil samples can be used to calculate the usable life of lubricating oil treated with AR9100. Oil samples containing AR9100 will show high levels of potassium and boron; this is normal and should not raise concern.

AR2820 is designed to rapidly remove deposits from all types of petrol or diesel engine lubrication systems, before renewing the oil and/or before using any oil additives. AR2820 contains latest generation dispersants and carrier fluid to safely remove sludge, particulates, gum and varnish from the crankcase thus restoring engine compression and performance lost through deposit build-up.

Deposits are dissolved and held in suspension within the old lubricating oil and then disposed when the oil is drained. Renewed oil will last longer and the cleaner surfaces provide the optimum environment for any of the AR9000 series oil additive packs and friction modifiers. AR2820 is suitable for older and modern engines types including petrol, diesel and those with turbo chargers, catalytic converters or diesel particulate filters. AR2820 is non corrosive and compatible with engine materials and seals.

AR9200 V2 is a unique high performance, synthetic ester based additive pack utilising Molybdenum & Nano Tungsten Disulfide (Mo-WS2 ) next-generation lubrication technology, providing advanced anti-wear and friction modification properties to the engine oil in street petrol and diesel or race derived engines.

Synthetic Nano WS2 is one of the most lubricious substances in the world and combined with Molybdenum provides longer-lasting and far superior performance to conventional anti-wear additives. The load bearing ability of the surface treated with AR9200 V2 is extremely high at over 4,200,000 PSI with over 5,000,000 PSI shock load capability, 15 times more than the previous

generation Nano WS2.

AR9200 V2 penetrates and helps restore worn surfaces and the new lubricating micro-thin film provides an ultra-low coefficient of friction (COF 0.03) that prevents sticking, wear, corrosion and oxidation. It is suitable for use in all four stroke petrol or diesel engines, including turbocharged, direct injection, with or without particulate filter (DPF) or three way catalytic convertors (TWC). USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Recommended treatment Ratio: 40ml AR9200 V2 per litre of engine oil. Acceptable variance +/- 10%.

One 200ml bottle will treat between 4.5 and 5.5L of engine oil.

Shake thoroughly before use. Bring engine up to full operating temperature. Add product and idle engine for 15 minutes. Then use vehicle or equipment normally.

AR9400 is a synergistic, multifunctional friction modifier and oil boosting complex. It delivers additional high temperature resistance, stability and reduction in friction and wear to existing engine oils.

AR9400 is designed to reduce piston ring sticking, promote clean engine operation and prolong the usable life of engine oils, especially crude oil derived base stocks (API Group I to III) but also fully synthetic PAO/ester (API Group IVV) oils whilst improving fuel economy in day to day driving.
