SWTOR Spreadsheet

My wife and I used to play SWTOR on a fairly regular basis on the NA "Prophecy of the Five" PvP server. As my alt-aholic tendencies kicked in I realized that having access to significant amounts of credits would make, well, everything easier. I have absolutely no interest in crafting and am not patient enough to attempt arbitrage on the GTN, so instead I opted for using my crew skills to create raw materials.

But then, I wondered, what crew skills make me the most money? What missions generate the units that sell for the highest prices? What missions give me the greatest profit-per-minute? To answer these questions systematically I created a spreadsheet, tracked how much the missions cost, discovered what units were generated, inputted my estimated sale price, and discovered how much profit I could make.

Some limitations: First, these prices are only taken from the Prophecy of the Five server - prices on other servers can be wildly different and this would affect the profitability of your missions. Second, the spreadsheet is only as useful as its sale price data is accurate; different sale prices will affect your profitability, sometimes significantly. I update the spreadsheet infrequently, but I've seen 24-hour periods where unit prices triple or fall by 80%. Third, the spreadsheet currently only covers three skills: Underworld trading, Scavenging, and Slicing.

I'm not planning on adding other skills (since doing so is a time-consuming proposition and there's plenty of profit to be made from these three skills, so it's not on my priority list).

If you like the spreadsheet and use it to get rich, I'd love to hear about it. You could drop me an email and give me your quick story - I'd love that! Alternatively, if you're wanting to show your gratitude in more (virtually) tangible ways, you could use in-game mail to send me some swag - credits, a VIP Lounge Wristband, items, etc. My character names are listed on the spreadsheet's "Characters" tab if you want to mail them something.

OK, enough preliminaries. Here's the spreadsheet!
