MapRun – Orienteering using a Mobile Phone!

MapRun6 (https://maprunners.weebly.com/) is an application for orienteering using mobile phones. It was developed in Australia and was funded by various Australian sports organisations. It is available for Android and iOS. From the MapRun6 application, the map and course are downloaded to one’s phone at home using WiFi (or using mobile data at the location). The map (with course) can be downloaded as an A4 sized PDF from this website and printed at home.
