BOC is committed to safeguarding children and by working under the guidance of our NGB Safeguarding Policies, our volunteers, working with our young people, throughout the organisation, seek to create a safe environment for young people to grow and develop within sport.

Risk Assessment and procedures

BOC has conducted a review of potential risks based on the Orienteering Ireland risk assessment template. While, everybody has a social responsibility to protect children and report any concerns irrespective of when or where they occur, the following risks have been identified as being applicable directly to BOC activities
