Document every detail of experiment including the date and time, experimental purpose, parameters, conditions, data, result, conclusion, discussion, idea, etc. This will help you for a troubleshooting later or writing a manuscript.
Write the labnote everyday. Don't delay the recording to the next day.
Quantify the result rather than subjective description.
Put the raw data file link.
Lab members are recommended to check the labnote file of others and if necessary, write a comment in the labnote file to improve it. Don't remove the comments by clicking resolved or rejected button. Just reply it.
Date Format: yyyy-mm-dd, or yy-mm-dd
For each slide, put the content in the following order.

2. R or C: Result or Conclusion
3. D or N: Discussion or Next experiment
4. D: Data (mainly gel picture). Concentration of Imidazole, Maltose, Ions etc.
5. History of purification
6. raw data file link (lower left corner)
7. Name of the researcher & Date of acquisition of the data (lower right corner)
8. Experimental parameters and conditions may go in the speaker's note section at the bottom
1. When a raw data was obtained in a table format, please upload the table also in the Google Project folder.
2. Put the link of the raw data file in both the presentation file and the labnote file.
Notes
* Data appear twice: in the labnote file and in the presentation slide file. It is convenient to put data to the presentation file first and then copy them to the labnote file because it is easier to add notation to a figure in the presentation file. It is not a good idea to put just a link of the the presentation file in the labnote file because the presentation file might be changed or reorganized later.
* Upload all the data and files to shared folders of the google drive, not your personal google drive. We don't backup files on our local computer anymore. When your computer has a problem and you haven't upload the files to the google drive, you are in trouble.
When you established a new protocol, write an SOP.
When you find an improvement in the protocol, please add the information with your name in the SOP file.
Use and improve our SOP! Don't make your personal version which can not contribute to the lab.
When you receive a reagent from a company, always take photos and upload them to the Google folders.
Highest priority project comes first.
