Summer! It's the time to be a little more informal and a little more relaxed. It's time to enjoy life, throw a party or two and listen to some American jazz by candlelight or firefly lights. In the summer, receptions, dinners, and parties tend to be less dressy, more spontaneous, and easier to throw together. Maybe your refreshments are pitchers of sangria or margueritas served with nachos. Maybe your party is held outside in your backyard on the deck or near a lake, a river, or at the beach. All these are perfect settings for smooth American jazz. Of course, there might still be occasions to pull out a white dinner jacket, for example, at a more formal summer wedding reception.
