The Big Rapids Masonic lodge has called three buildings home in it's lifetime.
.
The first place they met, after getting their Charter in 1865, was on leased space on the third floor of the Northern Bank Building on the corner of Michigan and Maple. They occupied this building from 1865 to mid 1884. In 1884, the Masons took over the second and third floor of a building across the street on the Harwood Block, now owned by Star Shooters Bar. The Masons sub-leased the rooms of the Northern Bank building to Woodbridge N. Ferris as a place to hold classes for his Ferris Industrial School.
