By December 31, 2026, Bullhead City Lions Club will educate first graders at public, charter, & private schools about the American Flag using the Lions International program “Flags for First Graders” program.
By June 30, 2027, Bullhead City Lions Club will offer and award three $500 scholarships to the local high school seniors of Arizona, Needles, CA and Laughlin, NV.
By June 30, 2027, Bullhead City Lions Club will sponsor at least one camper to Arizona Lions Camp Tatiyee at $1,200.00.
By June 30, 2027, Bullhead City Lions Club will educate the community about how to maintain proper eye health through five “Speaking Engagements” targeting audiences at schools, non-profits, church groups, Senior Centers and other Community Organizations within the tri state area.
By June 30, 2027, Bullhead City Lions Club will conduct year nine of Vision Screening (Part I) for preschools, day cares, HeadStart, public schools, charter school, private schools, and public libraries in the Tri State area of Arizona, Nevada, and California.
By June 30, 2027, Bullhead City Lions Club will fund 150-200 eye exams and glasses (not to exceed $100); extra funding may be requested on a case by case basis.
By June 30, 2027, Bullhead City Lions Club will collect donated glasses from the tristate area (Arizona, Nevada, California); sort the glasses according to Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation’s guidelines; recycle glasses to Phoenix, Arizona at least two times a year.
1. By June 30, 2027 Bullhead City Lions Club will net 3 new members and sustain membership at 30 members.
2. By June 30, 2027 Bullhead City Lions Club will start one Branch Club, targeting Mohave Community College.
3. By June 30, 2027 Bullhead City Lions Club will raise $350 for administration fund in order to pay International and District 21 dues and fund LCIF (Lions Club International Foundation) at $350.00. (Amount changed due to number of members a club has.)
4. By July 30, 2027, Bullhead City Lions Club will apply and secure $12,000 throughBHHS Legacy Grant in order to pay for eye exams and glasses over the 2026/27 fiscal year.
5. By October 30, 2026, Bullhead City Lions Club will apply for at least three grants in order to pay for meat needed for “Meat Bingo” fundraiser in Feb. 2027.
6. By Feb. 4, 2027, Bullhead City Lions Club will hold “Meat Bingo” fundraiser in order to raise at least $6,000 to pay for eye exams and glasses.
7. By September 30, 2026, Bullhead City Lions will establish working budget for 2026/27 fiscal year and share with club membership.
8. By October 31, 2026, Bullhead City Lions Club will establish working budget for “Meat Bingo”, separate from the main club budget in order to keep more accurate accounting of monetary donations and “In Kind” donations.
9. By June 30, 2027, Bullhead City Lions Club will buy one to two new printers for Vision Screening.
