If you’ve ever considered writing for money, you are in the right place. After careful effort and painstaking research, I prepared and compiled this list of websites that offer writers an opportunity to make money writing articles. All the sites on this list are genuine.
Writing articles for money online is indeed a real opportunity for anyone who is capable of putting sentences together. If you're interested in writing articles for money online, you do not have to have any formal education or experience - just a desire to make money from anywhere you have a computer and internet connection. Sound good? You won't believe the opportunities that are available to you today!
Whether you have lost your job due to economic issues or simply want to earn some extra money in your spare time, writing articles for the web is the way to go. Of course you can write web pages too if you like; most web pages are simply articles placed on the page, so technically there is no difference. So, how can you get paid to write articles? Here are a few options:
1. Join content provider sites. There are many sites like these online, that hire writers to provide content for paying customers. Content Divas is one such company. You write on assigned topics, then get paid when work is completed.
2. Write articles on a consignment basis. If you would rather write on the topics you are already familiar with, you can do this too. Write all of the articles you want and submit them to sites like Constant Content, where you set your own price. When a buyer browsing the site likes your article and buys it, you make money.
3. Find your own clients. Love to write about fitness, raising teenagers or golf? Write a few articles, then do a search on your topic. You will find hundreds of websites come up related to your search, such as fitness, golf, etc. Contact the website owner, offer a free sample article, and ask them to consider you for future writing projects.
These are just a few of the many opportunities available that allow anyone to make money writing. It isn't hard, just a bit of research and writing an informational article that generally ranges between 300 and 500 words. There is a lot of money to be made on the internet through writing, so why not get your share? Easy work, great pay. Writing articles for money online is a growing opportunity that is stable, and there is certainly no shortage of work!
The best companies to send articles are:
HubPages
HubPages allows it’s users to post “Hubs.” Hubs are simply articles. They have a nice community that interacts and promotes each other well. They pay through Google Adsense, which they consider to be an external affiliate, an eBay seller program and their own in-house ad program through PayPal. You can also earn money through their referral program by inviting other users through your referral links.
Squidoo
Squidoo is similar to HubPages, except for the fact that the articles you write there are called “Lenses.” Squidoo pays through PayPal your percentage based on what was earned from advertising. They also allow you to sell Amazon products through your lenses that you earn commissions on.
Bukisa
Bukisa is a pretty well established network, but is not quite as popular as Squidoo or HubPages. They don’t pay directly, but allow you to have your own Chitika or Google Adsense ads placed on your articles. Your Chitika ads are placed 100% of the time. Adsense ads are placed 60% of the time. They currently do not have a referral program
Triond
Triond is another less talked about blog/article publishing network. They pay 50% of all revenue earned after your first 5 posts allow you to integrate your own Google Adsense ads. They currently also pay through PayPal, check and Western Union. They have a referral program that is open to any user that has received at least one payment.
Xomba
Xomba is another network that shares Google Adsense revenue. Like Bukisa, they also give you 60% of the ads on your articles. After searching their site for a while I haven’t found anything about a referral program, but if I find one I will update this.
Wizzley
Wizzley is another nice blogging website that pays via Google Adsense. Your share with them is between 50-60% depending on how many articles you have posted. They also allow you to use Amazon, VigLink, Chitika, AllPosters, and Zazzle to make money.

Getting paid to write articles is a fairly simple task, but may be a little confusing for writers who are just starting in the online writing business. For one, getting paid to write articles can work like a sweatshop, especially in the online markets. Many writers have found the secret to get paid to write articles and are now making $20-$200 per article on average. Unfortunately, many writers get caught in the writing mill and can only manage to find writing jobs that pay $2-$4 per article. These are slave wages, and the publishers are making ten times more from your hard work.
Other ways to get paid to write articles include selling pre-written original articles. This is sort of like the PLR (Private Label Articles. This means, you will be acting as a ghostwriter) concept, only you will your articles will be original and sold to only one buyer. As I have stated before, it is best to research a niche and write your article around that. These type of pre-written articles sell faster. To get paid to write articles, you have to research new and emerging niches that will be enticing for webmasters. Some popular niches include; health, technology, home improvement and DIY (do-it-yourself) articles.
Many people get paid to write articles by writing for low paying sites, like Associated Content. The problem is, they own the rights to your articles and you are only making $2-$4 per article. Don't get caught up in the writing mill. Make the money you deserve for your writing. This is the secret to get paid to write articles.
