Ben teaches students of all ages and levels. He was the double bass instructor for the University of Arizona String Project, providing lessons for underprivileged students in Tucson, Arizona. He has also worked as an instructor for Musical Minds, providing after school music education for elementary school students without music programs in their schools. Ben has coached double bass for the Southern Arizona middle school honor orchestra and Woodbridge High School in Irvine, CA. Ben has helped students prepare successful auditions for the Pacific Youth Symphony, Santiago Strings, Irvine Unified School District Middle School Honor Orchestra, and the All Southern California Middle School Full Orchestra.
