Ben Ross is a freelance electric bassist and double bassist based out of Costa Mesa, California. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in double bass performance from the University of Arizona Fred Fox School of Music.

Ben has performed with the Arizona Symphony, the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra, the Sierra Vista Symphony, and the Kinnor Philharmonic in Kansas City, Missouri. He has also performed in a number of chamber music and musical theatre settings. He currently performs with the Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra.
Ben has performed and recorded with a variety of pop music groups. He co-produced and performed with Nilu, under the management of Randy Jackson, and he also toured the United States and abroad as the bassist and background vocalist of The Brevet. Ben's primary teachers have been Patrick Neher, Gabe Rosales, Doug Basye, John Schiavo, and Adam Nitti. Check out Ben's new song 3D with his new band LA River Crossing.
