Dennis Brothers | White & Poppe | Carter Paterson | Birmingham Fire Brigade | LFB
This website documents the restoration of two chassis originally built by Dennis Brothers of Guildford.
The first Dennis chassis I recovered is a 1908 Dennis 3 ton built for Carter Paterson; who were parcel carriers. I have a seperate page for the history of Carter Paterson.
The second chassis is a Dennis light fire appliance built for Birmingham in 1922.
The third chassis I collected is a Dennis 2 Ton, bought by Ernest Shentall of Chesterfield in 1914. Again it had been converted to a trailer at some point in it's life and awaits return to it's former glory.
