Career
In June 2024 I was appointed professor, and personal chair of Geometry and Representation Theory at the University of Edinburgh
February-May 2024 I was a visiting research professor at MSRI/SLMath Berkeley
In May 2018 I joined the Hodge Institute at the University of Edinburgh as a reader
From January 2017 until May 2018 I was employed as a lecturer at The University of Glasgow
From January 2018 until May 2018 I was also a research member at MSRI Berkeley
From October 2016 until January 2017 I was a postdoctoral researcher at IST Austria, funded by Tamas Hausel's ERC grant "Arithmetic and physics of Higgs moduli spaces"
From October 2013 until October 2016 I was a postdoctoral researcher at EPFL, funded by the same grant
From October 2012 until October 2013 I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bonn, working under Daniel Huybrechts
From October 2011 until October 2012 I was a FSMP postdoctoral researcher at Paris 6, working under Bernhard Keller
I received my PhD in 2011 at the University of Oxford, working under the supervision of Balázs Szendrői. My thesis was on "Invariance of orientation data under cluster mutation".
In July/August 2025 I am organising (along with Andrei Negut, Alexei Oblomkov, Sarah Scherotzke and Dimitri Wyss) a 5 week programme at the Bernoulli Centre (Lausanne) Representation, Moduli and Duality
In Spring 2023 I organised (with Lucien Hennecart) a workshop on Algebraic structures in Enumerative Geometry on the Isle of Skye: Skye workshop
In September 2019 I organised the 3 day workshop on Hall algebras and Cluster algebras in Edinburgh Artin workshop
In 2018 with Laura Schaposnik (UIC, USA), Marina Logares (Plymouth, UK) and Romina Arroyo I helped organise the conference "Current trends in Hitchin systems" in Buenos Aires and La Plata.
In 2017 with Gwyn Bellamy I organised "A conference on geometric representation theory, and related topics" in Glasgow.
