It's going to be a fantastic year! Your team of officers is ready to work with you and for you to make this school year the best one yet. We have exciting opportunities for you to get involved, whether you want to learn more about the issues that matter to you or advocate directly with legislators for yourself and your peers. I'm so excited to see all the ways you'll show up and show out for your students this year!

NEON

NEON is the New Educators of Oklahoma Network. If you are an educator with less than seven years of experience, you are a NEON! Our NEON reps are Briley Davis (RH) and Caroline Rojas (JP), and they've put together a fabulous fall gathering for ALL NEONs in Bartlesville, whether you are member or not! So, mark your calendar and make plans to attend!

PROTECT YOUR TIME

Our "Meeting Limitations: Site leadership-directed meetings shall not exceed sixty (60) minutes per month per teacher off contract. Site leadership-directed meetings shall not exceed ten (10) planning periods per month maximum (not to exceed three (3) per week), per teacher."

To keep track of our meetings and help our conversations and eventual negotiations, please add your meetings to THIS FORM. If you notice that someone from your building has already added a meeting, there is no need to add it again.

Do you need to certify?

OEA has vouchers for their members who need to take certification tests. We know those can get pricey, and we'd like to help you out! They come with a free study session (open to members and non-members alike). So, grab your bestie, put on your thinking caps, and go get that certification!
