👍THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE 👍
If you have served/are serving in the US Military, you can receive credit for your years of service! To see if you qualify and to get your military experience added to your salary schedule and to your retirement, you'll need to reach out to the Personnel Department at the OK SDE [ schoolpersonnel@sde.ok.gov OR (405) 521-3369 ] to have your experience added. BPS pulls years of experience from Sylogist after September 1 for the school year. Again, thank you for your service.
Co-President Nate Vance who served in the National Guard. Thank you for your service!

📊ASSAULT ON TEACHER - Data Collection 📉
If you have been assaulted by a student, please use THIS FORM to report the incident. This is for data collection purposes only and not a disciplinary action report. This is for BEA members and non-members alike, so feel free to share. You may complete the form as often as necessary. Please be careful to NOT report any identifiers of your student (name, description, etc...).

READY TO SERVE? 📢
If you are ready to serve or think someone else would make a good leader in our association, please complete our NOMINATION FORM. We'll begin the process of filling offices shortly after second semester starts!

MEMBER BENEFIT HIGHLIGHT🆓🆓🆓
You receive life insurance as a member benefit. However, it's worth nothing if you haven't named a beneficiary. To name your beneficiary, go to NEA MEMBERS BENEFITS site and complete the form! If you aren't sure who to name, use Thanksgiving Dinner as an opportunity to interview potential favorites then get that beneficiary named.

🎉YOU'RE INVITED 🎉
Please join us at 4:30 for snacks and a special presentation from our Legislative and Political Organizers who will fill us in on the upcoming legislative Session.

⌛PROTECT YOUR TIME ⌛
Our "Meeting Limitations: Site leadership-directed meetings shall not exceed sixty (60) minutes per month per teacher off contract. Site leadership-directed meetings shall not exceed ten (10) planning periods per month maximum (not to exceed three (3) per week), per teacher."
