Summer Reading? HECK YEAH!
As part of the NEA's IDEA initiative, I will be leading a local book club this summer! The book, Demystifying Disability (Ladau), will be provided for you. We will get copies of our book and then meet one time to discuss. We'll likely meet the last week in July or the first week in August (around a firepit in the evening with tasty treats as all book clubs do!). This can act as our PL Focus for next year (indicator 6 - optimizes learning environment; 16 - effective use of modified curriculum; 17 - Professional Growth; 19 - effective stakeholder interactions). If you'd like to be a part of this book study, please email (davishj@bps-ok.org) or text (918-914-0599) Heather Davis. Book study is limited to 12 participants.
