This is just a brief summary of my recent and past activities. I invite you to have a look to the other sections, too!

• • I am Lecturer at the Department of Economic Analysis: Economic Theory and Economic History at UAM.

  • I hold a European PhD in Economics from UNED (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia), with a thesis on Turkey and the energy security of the European Union, which was granted by the Extraordinary Doctorate Award of its Faculty of Economics and Business, in 2012.

  • My teaching experience includes both Economic History and Economic Policy.

  • My research topics are energy history, energy security, energy policy, energy economics, and other international political economy subjects.

  • I am member of the Research Group on International Political Economy and Energy (UNED), and I belong to the Spanish Oriental Society, Spanish Association of Economic History (AEHE), and to the International and Spanish Association for Energy Economics (IAEE & AEEE).

  • I have carried out 4 research fellowships: at the Department of Economic History (Lund University), at the Institute for Energy and Transport (JRC, European Commission), at the Department of Energy (Politecnico di Torino) and at the Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations (Istanbul University).
