I am a qualified Integrative therapist and have been a Registered Accredited member of the BACP since 2003 (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) https://www.bacp.co.uk/ . I am also an accredited EMDR Therapist and a member of EMDR UK https://emdrassociation.org.uk and an accredited Interpersonal Therapist IPTUK https://www.iptuk.net, as well as being an affiliate member of the British Psychological Society. I am currently doing a professional Doctorate in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
As an integrative therapist, I draw from a number of different psychotherapeutic models, including; EMDR, Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Interpersonal/Relational, Transpersonal and Cognitive approaches, in order to tailor the therapy to your individual situation. Drawing from a bio,psycho,social,spiritual model of human development.
I have spent over 20 years exploring and studying wellbeing and personal growth. I have worked as a qualified therapist in the NHS for over 17 years, as well as working with Employee Assisted Programmes and in Private Practice.
I have an MSc in leadership and coaching and a BSc in Integrative/Relational Therapy. I am also an experienced qualified Clinical Supervisor.
From my work as a therapist and working in the NHS, I developed an interest in organisational dynamics. I have also studied and worked within organisations to help leaders and managers understand relational dynamics and how, neurobiology, reflexivity and effective communication can bring about organisational change.
