How to Join

New interested people continue to show up and our membership has gradually been growing. We are now improving our technique and timing and have been competing in regattas since November 2011. Our club caters for social paddlers who want to get some fitness and also competitive paddlers who want to go in regattas. Juniors must be aged 12 years or more. If anyone wants to give dragon boating a go, they are welcome at any of our training sessions to have a go before becoming a member. We provide life-jackets for non-swimmers and juniors. Dragon boating is suitable for all fitness levels and anyone over 12 years of age.
Please feel free to
contact us with any inquiries.

Recommended items:
  • Water safe/Aqua shoes for wearing in the boat and on land.

  • Paddling gloves (or any lightweight sports gloves with grip on the inside) for better grip on the paddle.
  • Purchasing a professional lightweight paddle.  We recommend checking out Merlin Gear
