2021-2022 Tryouts

WHOOPS!

Did you miss the Spring Tryouts in May but are still interested in joining the Varsity Dance team? Fill out the Candidate Registration below to participate in the Fall Tryouts on Aug. 26.

Information for Fall 2021 Tryouts:

Clinic & Tryout: Thursday, Aug 26 at 3:30 p.m in the Dance Room. Please check-in right outside the dance room near the elevator.

Forms: Please complete following forms linked below:

• 21-22 Internet Agreement

• 21-22 Student and Parent Tryout Permission Form

• Tryout-out Forms, including the online Candidate Registration Form, must be completed before the audition.

Important Details:

• Please read through the 21-22 Team Highlights Document

• Prior to Tryouts, all candidates should register through 8to18. Registration is online at http://il.8to18.com/Bartlett or https://bartlett.8to18.com/accounts/login. If you are unable to register, we will have the Athletic office open the registration prior to first practice if candidates are placed on the team.

• Prior to Tryouts, all candidates MUST complete the Candidate Registration Google Form

• For clinics & tryouts, candidates must wear all black (with no writing, including team/studio names on any items) and jazz shoes or sneakers (no bare feet)

• Candidates will learn a portion of the current JV lyrical competitive routine.

• Tryouts will be judged by current Varsity Coach and Captains. Prior to leaving the audition, candidates will be informed as to whether or not they have been accepted on the team.

Information Meeting: There will be NO Informational Meeting this year. The Team Information Highlights and Tryout documents can be printed from the Attachments below

Clinics: Monday and Tuesday, May 10th & 11th -- 4-5:30 p.m. in the Dance Room. Check-in at 3:30 in the Cafeteria

Clinic/Skills Tryouts: Wednesday, May 12th -- 4-6 p.m. in the Dance Room. Check-in at 3:30 outside the Dance Room

Routine Tryout Audition: Thursday, May 13th starting at 4 p.m. Check-in at 3:30 outside the Dance Room
