RESOLUTION 2024-11 

Whereas, pursuant to sections 62.23(2) and (3) for towns exercising village powers under 60.22(3) of the Wisconsin Statutes, the Town of Barksdale is authorized to prepare and adopt a comprehensive plan as defined in section 66.1001(1)a) and 66.1001(2) of the Wisconsin Statues, and

Whereas, The Town Board of the Town of Barksdale, Bayfield County, Wisconsin has created  a Town of Barksdale Plan Commission and charged it with preparing a comprehensive plan for the Town of Barksdale, and

Whereas, a Comprehensive Plan of the Town of Barksdale that contains all the elements (with a land use element that includes a series of maps that shows current and future land uses) specified in section 66.1001(2) of the Wisconsin Statutes has been prepared, and

Whereas, the Town of Barksdale will hold a public hearing on the updated and revised Comprehensive Plan Booklet, corrected Land Use Map, new Land Use Map and the latest Census Data

• NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town of Barksdale Comprehensive Plan Commission does hereby recommend the Barksdale Town Board hold a public hearing to hear comments on the updated and revised Comprehensive Plan of the Town of Barksdale Bayfield County, Wisconsin.
