Commission Meeting Minutes

Date: September 10, 2024

Plan Commission Members Present: Susan Jacobson, Lynn Divine, Bob Sanger, John Nyara, Mike Bark and John Ganske

Absent Members: Jayson Nohl

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairperson Susan Jacobson after determining a quorum was present.

Verification of Posting: Lynn Divine verified the meeting notices were posted at the Lake Shore Drive, Barksdale Town Hall and the Town Website.

Reading and Approval of meeting minutes from:  September 4, 2024.  Bob Sanger motioned to dispense with reading and approve them as written Lynn Divine second the motion all were in favor motion passed. 

Discussion and Possible Action on a permit request: Chelsie Anderson is asking for a short term rental permit for 72410 State Hwy 13, Ashland, Wi 54806. After discussion and comparing the request with the 10 elements of the Comprehensive Plan and the plan goals John Nyara made a motion to recommend to the Town Board to approve the permit request, Lynn Divine second the motion, all were in favor, motion passed.

Other Business: Bono Creek - no new things to report.

Next Meeting: The next quarterly meeting date is set for December 9, 2024 at 6pm at the Barksdale Town Hall.

Adjournment: Mike Bark motioned to adjourn, Bob Sanger second the motion, all were in favor, motion passed. The meeting adjourned at 6:27pm
