Plan Commission Members Present: Susan Jacobson, Bob Sanger, John Nyara, Mike Bark, Lynn Divine and Jayson Nohl
Absent Members: John Ganske due to work commitments
Public Present: Sarah Gjertson and Theresa Margetta
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairperson Susan Jacobson after determining a quorum was present.
Verification of Posting: Jayson Nohl verified the meeting notices were posted at Lake Shore Drive, Barksdale Town Hall and the Town Website.
Reading and Approval of meeting minutes from: March 13, 2025 John Nyara motioned to dispense with reading and approve them as written, Lynn Divine second the motion, all were in favor, motion passed.
Discussion and Possible Action on a Conditional use Permit: from Head Space LLC owner Sarah Gjertson, property address 30805 Wedal Road Washburn, Wi 54891. Gjertson is requesting the permit from Bayfield County to start a small rental business which would consist of 4 rental pods, which is classified as a Campground by Bayfield County Zoning. After discussion with Gjertson and comparing the permit request with the Towns Comprehensive Plan and the Towns Future Land use Map and finding no issues or conflicts, Mike Bark motioned to recommend to the Town Board to approve the C U Permit request Bob Sanger second the motion all were in favor motion passed.
Public Comments: Theresa Margetta wished Sarah Gjertson all the best in her quest.
Adjournment: Seeing there wasn’t any more business Mike Bark motioned to adjourn the meeting Lynn Divine second the motion all were in favor motion passed. Meeting Adjourned at 6:30pm.
Next meeting: The Comprehensive Plan Commissions next quarterly meeting is scheduled for June 9, 2025 at 6:00pm at the Barksdale Town Hall.
