Plan Commission Members Present: Susan Jacobson, Bob Sanger, John Nyara, Mike Bark, Lynn Divine  and Jayson Nohl

Absent Members: John Ganske

Public Present: 

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:00  p.m. by Chairperson Susan Jacobson after determining a quorum was present.

Verification of Posting: Jayson Nohl verified the meeting notices were posted at Lake Shore Drive, Barksdale Town Hall and the Town Website.

Reading and Approval of meeting minutes from:  May 1, 2025. John Nyara motioned to dispense with reading and approve them as written, Bob Sanger second the motion, all were in favor, motion passed.

Discussion and Possible Action on a Class A Land Use Permit Request: (Shoreland Grading in a Shore land Zone) from Quinn Rhoda and Nicole Page address 73930 Lake Shore Drive Washburn, Wi 54891. After discussion and comparing the request with the ten elements of the Towns Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map and finding only one conflict, the Sensitive area because of Lake Shore property. Mike Bark motioned to recommend to the Town Board to approve the Class A permit request. Lynn Divine second the motion, all were in favor. Jayson Nohl added to the approval sheet a recommendation to have silt fence placed to minimize any sediment run off into the Lake.

Discussion and Possible Action on displaying the Bayfield County 2023 Future Land use Map in the Town Hall: The plan commission discussed the displaying of the map and where to hang it. The map will be displayed on the west wall of the Town Hall. Jayson Nohl agreed to look for a frame for it.

Bono Creek Road Update: The road has been paved and the parking lot graveled. There will be some touch up of the shoulder gravel in the future. The aluminum ramp and dock have been repaired and will be installed in the next couple weeks.

Adjournment:  Seeing there wasn’t anymore business Bob Sanger motioned to adjourn. Lynn Divine second the motion, all were in favor motion passed. The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 pm.

The next scheduled quarterly meeting is scheduled for September 8, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.  at the Barksdale Town Hall.
