Plan Commission Members Present: Susan Jacobson, Lynn Divine, Bob Sanger, John Nyara and Jayson Nohl
Absent Members: John Ganske,
Public Present: None
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairperson Susan Jacobson after determining a quorum was present.
Verification of Posting: Jayson Nohl verified the meeting notices were posted at the Lake Shore Drive, Bono Creek Landing, Barksdale Town Hall and the Town Website.
Reading and Approval of meeting minutes from: May 13, 2024. Lynn Divine motioned to dispense with reading the minutes and approve them as written. John Nyara second the motion, all were in favor, motion passed.
Discussion and Possible Action of Rewriting the Comprehensive Plan Booklet and Land Use Map and approving it as written: Mike Bark spoke about a new photo of the Town Hall to upgrade the cover page of the plan booklet. The plan commission also felt there should be new data from the County to put in the booklet. Mike Bark asked if he could go through the plan booklet and critique the language a little to make it flow better. Jayson Nohl asked Mike if he could get it done before the next meeting. Mike Bark agreed to do so. Bob Sanger motioned to publish the document with some minor changes made by Mike Bark Lynn Devine second the motion all were in favor.
Jayson Nohl picked up the land use map from Bayfield County Land Records, but explained the map is too large to fit into the frame that hangs on the wall. He will go back to Land Records and see if they can make a smaller map that will fit.
Next Meeting Date: The plan commission then set the next meeting date for July 8, 2024 at 6:00pm at the Barksdale Town Hall.
Bono Creek Update: Jayson Nohl reported that the County is still planning on rip rapping the bank along the road entering the landing site. The counties plan is to rip rap in June or July. Dave Lucius will be patching the deeper holes in the blacktop as soon as we get some consistently dry and warm weather.
Adjournment: Mike Bark made the motion to adjourn the meeting, Lynn Divine second the motion, all were in favor, motion passed. The meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
