Plan Commission Members Present: Susan Jacobson, Lynn Divine, Bob Sanger, John Nyara and Jayson Nohl
Absent Members: John Ganske
Public Present: None
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairperson Susan Jacobson after determining a quorum was present.
Verification of Posting: Jayson Nohl verified the meeting notices were posted at the Lake Shore Drive, Bono Creek Landing, Barksdale Town Hall and the Town Website.
Reading and Approval of meeting minutes from: June 10, 2024. Bob Sanger motioned to dispense with reading the minutes and approve them as written, Lynn Divine second the motion, all were in favor, motion passed.
Discussion and Possible Action on Rewriting and updating the Comprehensive Plan Booklet and updating the Towns future Land Use Map: Since our last meeting in June Mike Bark has proof read the comp plan. The plan commission read through the booklet again verifying the changes. The only things missing were pictures of the land use map and the latest US census data for the Town of Barksdale. Jayson Nohl agreed to get the data and obtain a copy of the future land use map from Bayfield County land records.
Bono Creek Update: Jayson Nohl reported Bayfield county highway department will be placing the rip rap on the slope along the lake shore of the road into Bono Creek. This should resolve the problem with the erosion of the bank along the road into the landing.
Town Annual Picnic: The Town picnic will be held on September 7, 2024 from 12:00 noon until 4:00pm at the Barksdale Town Hall.
Next Meeting Date: The comp plan commission set the next meeting date for Wednesday July 17, 2024 at 6:00pm at the Barksdale Town Hall.
Adjournment: Mike Bark made the motion to adjourn the meeting. Lynn Divine second the motion, all were in favor, motion passed. The meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
