Date: July 17, 2024

Plan Commission Members Present: Susan Jacobson, Lynn Divine, Bob Sanger, John Nyara, John Ganske and Jayson Nohl

Absent Members: None

Public Present: None

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairperson Susan Jacobson after determining a quorum was present.

Verification of Posting: Jayson Nohl verified the meeting notices were posted at the Lake Shore Drive, Bono Creek Landing, Barksdale Town Hall and the Town Website.

Reading and Approval of meeting minutes from:  July 8, 2024. Lynn Divine motioned to dispense with reading the minutes and approve them as written, Bob Sanger second the motion, all were in favor, motion passed.

Discussion and Possible Action on Comprehensive Plan Draft Booklet: The plan commission read through the booklet and found a few spelling errors that needed to be corrected. Lynn Divine and Mike Bark noted the changes and sent all the plan commission members the updated draft. Susan Jacobson and Jayson Nohl agreed to work with Copy That from Ashland to have them print the booklets. Jayson Nohl reported he has been working with Bayfield County Land records and Copy That to have new maps made for the booklets and the Town Hall.

Bob Sanger motioned to recommend to the Barksdale Town Board to call for a public hearing to hear comments and suggestions from the public on the updated Comprehensive Plan. Mike Bark second the motion all were in favor motion passed.

Adjournment: Bob Sanger motioned to adjourn Lynn Divine second the motion all were in favor. Meeting adjourned at 7:15pm.

Just a reminder the Town Picnic is scheduled for Saturday September 7, 2024 from noon until 4:00pm.
